Immobilisé sur son lit d’hôpital,
un homme revisite sa conduite à l’égard d’une femme qu’il a aimée.
Un examen de conscience qui prend la forme d’un redoutable et mystérieux tribunal
composé exclusivement de femmes.
1968. Adèle and Lazare, two students in their final year of secondary school, love each other or believe so. The day the baccalaureate results are proclaimed, circumstances make their love affair suddenly come to an end. Twenty years later, they see each other again, but too many things separate them to rekindle their lost love on a permanent basis.
When he is about fifty, Lazare, who is affected by a serious illness, on his hospital bed, recreates he delineaments of his broken dream. The remorse which is gnawing at him assumes the shape of a mysterious court of justice, exclusively composed of women in front of whom he has to justify himself. If he cannot, he will have to face the worst sanction : death. How can he escape the fatal verdict ?
Two delightful body-builded creatures, Amanda and Miranda, endeavour to help him escape, while the despicable Marceline, a cruel and hideous convicts warden is fiercely opposed to it.
Will Lazare and Adèle be able to meet despite the incomprehensions which have scarred their lives, despite Adèle's vertiginous fall into prostitution ? Will they be able to forgive each other, to accept facing each other and, once everything has been said and underestood, be able once again to live together thanks to their fransformed love ?
