“Lucarnes mobiles” succeeds in embarking the reader into the centre of travels lived by the author. As such, the reader is travelling to Mexico in 1999, to Nunavut in 2002, to the States in 2005 and to Cameroon in 2007.

The reader shares the impressions and feelings which the narrator describes with humour, emotion and details. He discusses the strange worlds of an Inuit, a Huichol Indian, an Amish, a Pygmy while sipping a Peyott, preparing for the upcoming cold weather, or cherishing the one who could be the love of his life.

The exoticism is there, so far and so close at the same time. Reader and author interrogate the world, the one that begins at their door, and the one further away in their dreams.
